American-made Pointer Brand jeans

Postby 1541 » Fri Oct 25, 2013 5:22 pm

I ran into this article today.

http://www.wcyb.com/news/all-american-band-endorses-all-americ-brand/-/14590844/22617816/-/5us0f8/-/index.html

I had never heard of Pointer Brand Jeans before. https://www.pointerbrand.com/ It is danged near impossible to find American made clothing anymore :( Does any of our Cubbers from the great state of Tennessee or other Cubbers for that matter know much about them? According to their Find a Store, the closest place that carries them is around 60 miles from me.

Pointer is really good stuff. I have several of their items. I bought mine directly from them-- did you check their website or call them? My purchase was not recent.
We try to get all the mileage possible out of our stuff. My wife made a purse out of the bib portions of worn out overalls. Neat with the pockets on the side of the purse- quite the conversation piece.

Wow, the prices have really gone up since my purchase. But it looks like they do sell directly.

Pointer brand overalls have been popular here in my part of the South as long as I can remember.(And that's a long time) They have always been high quality overalls. They are still available occasionally in some of the locally owned stores. Not so much so in the big name stores because they aren't made in China.
I think I still have 2 or 3 pair in my closet, they are hard to wear out.
