Got back from Cecil's late yesterday afternoon and have just now updated my Cub Express spreadsheet. This is the first time that it is empty, since I started keeping a list of my obligations 4 or 5 years ago. I forgot that I had agreed to pick up a portable generator at the Cub Tug, Remembered, after I got all the way home. So after a 360 mile round trip, a few days later, I started to keep the spreadsheet.
I really enjoy the opportunity to help people get their "stuff," and you meet the nicest people, people that you might not meet otherwise.
Thanks to all of you for making the Cub Express an enjoyable and important part of my life.

Re: Cub Express Observations
You are a hero Bill!
I would like to add that it is a huge amount of work and trouble to do a Cub express. Too often people think nothing of asking but when you are the mule there is a lot involved; security, damage, storage, loading/unloading, remembering, etc etc.

Re: Cub Express Observations
Bill,
I am also grateful for the “work” you do, and as a couple mentioned it is work! Your “you betcha” attitude is truly a joy to be around.
Early this year I noticed a deal on eBay on a Cub Cadet Original and it appeared to be close to Bill so I dropped him a PM and asked if I happened to win it could he pick it up for me. He replied “bid on that sucker, I have you covered”! Well, I did… and he did! Best part was hearing back from the man I purchased it from, telling me what a wonderful time he had talking to Bill, and what a gentleman he was! Think that sums it up pretty good from my perspective!
I have had the opportunity to “pay if forward” and help others out and encourage others to do so as well, not only is it a great service to our forum members, but can be rewarding meeting new members.

Re: Cub Express Observations
Yes, Bill is a great one. For instance, this summer he posted a "Vine" about that 140 and equipment for sale near him. (http://www.farmallcub.com/phpBB2/viewto ... 71&t=79597) He went to look at it, made a couple of calls (one to me), and I ended up buying it. He helped me load it all on my trailer.........
...........and no sooner than I got it all home there was a forum member on the east coast looking for a post hole digger. I ended up selling that green one laying on the disk to that member. I hauled it over to the Cub Tug in August and it was transferred over to Bill's trailer. He took it home with him (probably unloaded it and reloaded it) and last weekend hauled it up to Cecil's to transfer it to it's new owner. It now resides in Massachusetts.
Yes, I know first hand, more than once, of Bill's generosity and time comittment when it comes to the "Hudson" (Cub) Express. Thanks, Bill, for all you do. You are my hero.
