Hail Drifts

Postby outdoors4evr » Tue Jun 18, 2013 8:50 am

Power is out. Several nasty storms rolled through last evening and left drifts of marble sized hail in the yard. It was enough to cover the grass in most places and be 2" deep where the horizontal winds blew around the house.
Most of the trees are stripped of their leaves and the garden plants look like they were scattergunned with buckshot.

Never seen weather like this. Thankfully, the family is safe and well. Continually counting our blessings!

WOW, good you were not out in it. I got caught in a bad hail storm several years ago while grading the road. headed for house at full throttle, and when I got close, hit the kill switch and bailed off before it slowed down. Hail stones on a short haircut hurt like the dickens.
If you are not part of the solution,
you are part of the problem!!!
