Nail Gun

Postby beaconlight » Wed May 18, 2005 9:09 am

I bought a Bostich N16 nailer whn Bev and I framed the house in 1985. Lord knows hom many other projects I have used it on including the 28 by 28 garage.
I called Bostich theis morning, Head valven not available. They reffered me to Bruner Sales and Service 5547 Bridgetown Rd. 2 nd floor Cincinnatti OH 45248 888 467-3489.. I told the lady the part I needed. She said that they had none but could rebuild mine. They have the gasket and O ring I wanted to replace as long as I had it apart.
Made my day.

My friend had a worn bostich nailer and a new one of a slightly different model. Parts not available for the old one so he took both apart and the old and new ae the same part, just different number. He bought the new part and put it on the old gun and works well now. Glad to hear you have a resolution to you problrm though!

Bill and Carm:

Wish I could find someone to rebuild my two Italian Brad Nailers. Best guns I ever owned. Need hammers, cost a fortune to have them made.... I am keeping them around just in case I can find someone someday.

In the meantime, my buddy replaced them (he wore out the hammer on one) with a Campbell Hausfield - close, but no where near the quality of my Italian guns.

Glad you were able to get your Bostich fixed.
