Re: Spring where are You
About same for here, I am getting really sick of my winter coat. Never seen a good snow fall after my birthday before, or at least don't remember one.
I really want to start mowing sometime soon, getting fustrated and loosing ambition for doing all these inside projects.
Enjoy

Re: Spring where are You
Winter is when I usually play in my cabinet shop. It makes for some creative times, (this year is different because of health issues). Winter basically is all in how you look at it. When I was in Alert way up at the top of Ellesmere Island, I spent most of my off-duty time either in the Ham Shack, the Wood Shop or the Radio Station. When I was in Inuvik up on the McKenzie Delta I spent most of my winter (better part of 6 months I guess) on my Merc 440 T/T or running with the local First Nations on the reindeer hunt. When I was a kid in Northern Ontario I spent most of the winter from October to April on my trap line and on the skating rink.
Winter really is what you make of it. I like to be on the positive side of the equation no matter what season. Where I really have difficulty is when the temps are above 40C -- or 100F. My health really suffers and makes life really miserable. But as long as it doesn't top 40, I can pretty much handle it all - again, just how one looks at it.
