The only snakes in Canada, are wearing fur coats, so its hard to tell if its a snake, rat,or woodchuck. Weasels and minks, being long and thin, often are mistaken for furry snakes!  Ed

Rudi as you well know there is no better heat than wood when you get warm sitting by a wood stove you are warm all over last winter i went out for breakfast i had built a fire in the shop before leaving i returned about nine thirty it was about 75 degress in the shop i have an old recliner in my shop i couldn't resist i leaned back in the recliner when i awoke it was eleven thirty.time for lunch.

Jim: You are right on the money. I love my wood heat - it is moist/warm/aromatic and mixes so well with the aroma therapy Em provides on a daily basis as she makes all the good things we love to eat. Only thing that could make it better is if we could put our wood kitchen stove in the house - then it would be perfect  Ed: Funny  We do have some mink and weasel around here though. See them occasionally.
