What is funny is, I saw a commercial for one of those and just thought to myself, " I bet that is what he got."

Hope you get more use out of yours than I do the one I bought a few months ago. I opened it, and saw how it really worked, and threw it on the shelf, and have not picked it up since.

It is a ratcheting screwdriver, that is supposed to make 2 turns of the bit for every one of the handle you make. It works by a back and forth ratcheting motion so that when you turn the handle forward the bit goes forward, and when you turn the handle backward the bit turns forward again. The catch is that there is a collar you have to hold stationary relative to the screwdriver, so 2 hands are required for use if you want the double action.
Of course all that is assuming this is what you were referring to.
