Ditto;
I got his email today.
I feel really bad for the people in NJ and NY city. No power, no gas with the northeaster approaching tomorrow night they said but it looks like rain due to the warmer temps.
They need housing for 40k of people??
Seeing all this makes me think i need one of those big GI tents with the GI woodstove just incase we lose the house someday in a storm with no where to go?

The reach of Sandy is amazing. Southwest Michigan is a long way from the east coast, but we too suffered damage from the storm. We had high winds here as the storm moved inland. Among the casulities was the storage shed at my In-Laws.
Peeking out from under the roof is my In-Laws Cub Cadet mower.

Wow!... they said Sandy was one of the worst on record for its size and reach. I guess they weren't exaggerating at all ....

Interesting... The center of the storm passed within 75 miles of us and we had hardly any wind. We did get between 2 and 3 feet of snow, though.

Don:
I really like that pic. Looks like here around the middle of November and that is what usually stays. Has it melted yet?
