That is quite the comprehensive list. I think I fit in there pretty well. Thanks for the link

8) Yes I'm still chucklin, as Scott said so true. I see I still have some things to work on to be a real tractor guy. They forgot about the carb being rebuilt on the dining room table, I think I will get it done this week :!: I have been in my house five years and the truck has never been in farther than the hood. but their is room for the cub :!: Ya know when I bought this place I thought how nice it would be to park inside and not have to clean the windows in the morning. Well maybe when I get a pole barn :!:

Been a while since I saw that list. Glad somebody saved it. I think explaining some of those items should be enough to separate out the hard core from the novices. For a start, how many can explain "interesting things happening around the 25th of August" in Indiana?

Antique tractors

Yup, so true. My pencil holder is a distributor cap, my desk is covered with to be worked on parts and repair manuals.

Visiting my brother is Michigan. My brother took us on a Grand Rapids tour, and drive along Lake Michigan. On the way back from Lake Michigan, driving through blueberry country, I spotted an antique tractor. My Dad and I talked about that tractor for the remainder of the drive back to my brother's house. It really hurt my brother's feelings that the only thing interesting was the antique tractor.

The wife tells stories about the time I used the bath tub to clean an engine block. The story isn't true, it was only the head and valve train.

Not just the 40th, but every year about that time.

You identified the right show. The significance to this list, it is the semi-official show for the ATIS members.

Here's the significance... 40th Portland show coming up, my 31st time there coming up, and the 11th anniversity of the ATIS group get together there. Here are 4 original guys who were there in 1995 at the 10th gathering. Spencer Yost, me, Brice Adams, and Steve Sewell... picture taken in 2004. My I was fat then!
