Cotton In November

Postby Cub-Bud » Thu Nov 11, 2004 1:01 pm

I noticed something the other day I don't remember seeing before. Most of the cotton in this area has already been picked and the stalks have been cut/shredded. Because of the unseasonable warm weather we have had, the cotton stalks have actually begun to grow again. In most fields, the plants are better than ankle high. However, the first frost we have here will kill any chance these plants have of making it. Also, looks like I will be mowing my lawn one more time.
