Don't look if your afraid of snakes

The other day I had to get a dead mouse out of a heater fan after it was all ground up. One or twice i have had to get a cat out of a fan belt after it was ground up and cooked. But this one I'm not touching.
I'm only afraid of 2 kinds of snakes. Live ones and dead ones.

Pretty smart snake Jim. It must know that it is in a safe spot from getting blasted by a 12-guage.

Dave, I guess we could try some possum recipes and substitute snake meat.
Since technically in this case they could both be considered "road kill"!

Jim, Does any one around you have(had) apet snake? I coulde be wrong, but I dont think thay type is indigenous to your area. From the looks of it I think its a Burmese Python (maybe). The size is pretty amazing, must have been an escaped or released pet. If you were to buy one like that, im sure it would be pretty pricey.

A friend in town sent me this story. I never said I saw the car or snake. I just said I would not touch it.
A guy in St. Louis was driving to work on Hwy 144 when he heard a 'pop'. He thought it sounded like a flat tire, though his ride wasn't affected. After pulling over, checking the tires and finding them intact he opened the hood to look at the motor. Before the hood was even all the way open he jumped back in shock and knocked his head on the partially opened hood, unable to believe what his eyes were seeing!
Nobody was going to believe this! ....you sure wouldn't have either!
Fortunately, a coworker with a camera recognized him along side the road and stopped to see if he could help. Check out the attachment jpg files to witness for yourself the source of his amazement. ....Now, this has to be right up there at the top of the list of unusual but verified 'Reasons I was
late for work'!!!!
So John are there any snakes like that around St Louis??

Well Jim, I dont see any attachment you mentioned unless in your haste to get away from the snake you fergot to attach it.
Here is a Burmese Python. Quite a resemblence to the picture Jim posted.

The attachment had the picture from the original e-mail I got. So now you have the whole story. I think your are right about the kind of snake.
