Buick and garage door

Postby beaconlight » Mon Nov 12, 2007 9:36 am

Any body know if you can program all those buttons in the headliner, between the 2 sun visors to operate a garage door opener? We have my fathers 2000 Buick Lemans. While cleaning out the house when he passed my brother tossed the book. I tried to get it from GM this morning but you have to sign up. Just what I need more E-mail.

Bill, pretty sure you can, but I don't have the instructions for the GM version any longer. We did own a Buick a few years back that sounds like the same setup as your car. I had it programmed for both our 2 garage door openers here at our house, as well as a 3rd one at our rental property.

Here's a couple of links I found, maybe they'll help you?

Thank you very much.

I'm glad that's what it was. From reading the title, I thought there had been an unwanted "get together".

The one in the Jeep is programed and it is neater than the ones in the pickup although it only opens the one door. I have 4 transmitters on the visor of the truck so I can get in anywhere (at home). :D
