It is going to be 77 here in La Crosse today! (sorry to rub salt in your wounds!)...

We just got off of a very hot spell, though. Weather here in La Crosse is very strange. Summers, we get the heat from the Gulf States, and Winter, we get the cold from our Canadian neighbors. From what we hear on the news weather reports, Canada must ALWAYS be cold... they are always talking about "Canadian Cold Fronts" coming through...

Relief is coming guys... it is coming!!!

Grocery shopping. Bought a bag of trail mix with chocolate and yogurt balls. Opened the bag when I got home to snitch a few pieces. Chocolate cover hand.

Put the bag in the fridg. I now have a solid chunk of chocolate, yogurt, fruit pieces and assorted nuts.

Eugene, up here in Illinois we call those candy bars. I made a 2 lb peanut cluster the same way!

Bill - I just think its fun to mope and whine with everyone else  haha. I truly dont care that its 106 out. I have AC in the truck, but I still prefer to turn it off and ride with the windows down. I'll go mow grass in midday. Ill do whatever chores and not care. Keeping that quote in mind really helps me get through most anyhting I encounter. However, I'm pretty useless in the COLD

Whimps

I might have to agree somewhat with Donny.
Try being in South Korea in July, and wearing your Chemical Attack suit and gear. That was HOT

Then lets not forget Jeff and the rest of our Firefighter buddies, try wearing a nomex hood and all your fire gear in a blazing building during the middle of summer:evil:

I was fighting a house fire one day in winter with snow on the ground. Before I got done all my clothes under the turnout gear were soaked with sweat.

Lil' Red, haven't tried to ride that horse. Don't know if I'd trust it.
