FedEx

Postby 2 Busy » Thu Mar 22, 2007 12:02 am

Waited all day for them to bring my cub parts and never showed. I've had them call at 6 am wanting directions or coming at 8 am or 4 pm. never know when they will show up or if they even will.

I called at 7 pm and asked if they were coming and could they give me a time. All they could say was it was on the truck for delivery. I checked the tracking at 9 pm and it said no attempt made deliver next business day.

Fed Ex really stinks in this area. Gonna request UPS next time as my delivery guy is usually right on time everytime.

Now i have to waste another day sticking close to the house.

Pretty m7uch the same thing in this area. Post Office and UPS are the most dependable here.

I bought a PC one time and on Sat they said that my monitor had been delevered, So I checked all the neighbors no good they dont delever on Mondays So finally mon morn I called and said where the heck is my monitor I dont know they said it was signed for. Then mon the fed x guy showed up and said he had a family emergency and he put it like that so the boss would not know he went home early. Well I never saw him again so must be he was demoted or fired. So on his day off on mon he went and delevered all his sat packages.

Don't get much stuff delivered by Fedex so I can't comment on them.I really don't have a problem with UPS except the time they get here.Years back when there was one truck in the area they delivered to me about 10:00,when they went to two trucks it was about 1:00,now they have three trucks in the area and don't get here until after 3:00.I sure hope they don't put on a fourth truck. UPS- Union carrier nationwide : FED EX non union in most locations; pay; about half what a UPS driver gets. How come? The same package delivered by fed EX always costs more for delivery than UPS???????? . PAY PEANUTS-GET MONKEYS.

My parts always get delivered down the street at the hospital for some reason. FED EX lost a $6,000 Gibson guitar I had bought for my grandfather, I wasn't a happy camper. Found it at the hospital next day. Very dependable operation!!!

Fed Ex drivers are independent contractors and own their own trucks in my area. Many have lost their shirt on what Fed Ex pays.
FWIW,
Mike
