George Willer, Do you know this guy?

Postby Kodiak » Fri Nov 10, 2006 9:55 pm

George, I had the pleasure of meeting a friend of yours today. He's like most other tractor people I have met, a really nice guy!

And he has a really 8) Mini G too
I bought an old tractor all dusty and worn,
knew nothing about her just the year she was born
I washed her and greased her and painted her red
Now she lives happily right here in my shed.

I sure do! None other than Herb Metz. Did you also meet his wife Barbara? Here's the two of them and a grandson in front of their home near Cumming.

George,
I sure did she was getting ready to go shopping with some other 8 or 9 ladies. His Mini G is a really nice piece of work. One guy wanted to know how many of those Allis Chambers made!

Ron, I know him Too I met him at the Portland tractor show 2 years ago for lunch with the ATIS group. He lived in West Lafayette before he moved to GA. That is a real nice Mini G he has.

Steve,
Since he lives so close to me I told him he'd have to consider comming to The Stonethrow Cubfest in October of 2007!
I bought an old tractor all dusty and worn,
knew nothing about her just the year she was born
I washed her and greased her and painted her red
Now she lives happily right here in my shed.

I had to go back to 2002 to find a good picture of the ATIS Portland group and Steve B is missing. There are, however a few that are/were also members of this forum. Maybe some lurkers, but I can identify 6. One, Cecil Monson, is departed. Cecil is behind Herb on the far right.

Larry Dotson, Gary Dotson, "Farmer" Robinson, Bigdog, Me, and Cecil. Reba our Golden Retriever is also deceased.
