Happy belated Canada Day!

Postby EZ » Mon Jul 10, 2006 8:13 am

It was raining out on Canada Day but that would not stop my nephew from doing what he loves best on July 1st.

We drive around town wishing folks well and showing off the Cub. At 6pm, we park in front of the Anglican church and head to the basement for spaghetti supper. Awesome!

Looking good. Nice to see the Cadadian Flags all over it. Looks like my cub did except for American Flags.

Very nice job

Now there's a kid that knows how to have a good time
I bought an old tractor all dusty and worn,
knew nothing about her just the year she was born
I washed her and greased her and painted her red
Now she lives happily right here in my shed.

Ed - Great picture! There's nothing like kids and cubs!

Nice tractor. Just wondering about the white wheels. I have a 56 that has white wheels. Just wondering if maybe some came from the factory that way. I have thought about painting them red and silver but kinda like them white. Lonniebug57

Here are photos of the 1955 and 1957 lineups. As you can see, in 55 the wheels were red. In 57 the Lo-Boy front wheels only were white, standard Cub was red.
