The four stages of senility:
1. You forget names
2. You forget faces
3. You forget to zip back up
4. You forget to zip down

Fortunately I haven't reached stage 3 yet!!

When your hearing starts to go. You say wierd stuff like you heard what the person was saying.Sort of like....
"What you say? I can't Hear you ?" Suck a Possom"? It use to be funny holding conversations in other parts of the room.Bad when it's in the same room.

OR, you carefully dry fit all the pvc plumbing for you new bathroom and even go the trouble of adding another vent line, a just incase type of thing.

But in your rush to get er done, forget to clean it, glue and let it set up. before you start to use it.

and remember, only a year and half later when they come apart, when its time to snake out pipes because of a mystrerious blockage which happened to be at those joints that were not glued.

came apart easy, but oh that smell. :x They aint coming apart next time.

You have boxes of stuff stored in the attic that were never unpacked from your first move 40 years ago.

You have to wait for one of your kids or grandkids to visit so they can help you move something you used to move by yourself.

You have your wife’s birthday and your wedding anniversary circled on the calendar. You still forget both.

When asked how old you are, it takes you a minute to respond because you have to do the math...

How about being extremely careful, double checking all stands, and connections, to the fifth wheel trailer. ensuring it was safe to pull away from it. the hitch was free, the jacks down, chocks in place. good to go. brake release free and clear. So go. OOOOOOOPS Forgot the 7 wire cable, not once, but twice in my trip to to cubfest. Dont think i will be doing that again anytime soon.

:( Or forget to put my tailgate down and drive off only to come to an abrupt stop, now I have a V gate

Or what kind of dumb stuff did I do today.

100 plus degrees, 94 degrees in the shade. Mounted up the spot sprayer on the WD Allis Chalmers and sprayed thistles and multifloral rose. Finished spraying weeds and had about 5 gallons of weed killer still in the tank. Decided to spray along the property line to empty the tank.

I was watching the fence line. Ran under a tree with a hanging grape vine. Ripped the muffler out of the manifold and then I ran over the muffler with a rear tire.

It was to darn hot to go back to bed and start the day over.
