This is very interesting.

beat his wife with a stick no thicker than his thumb.
Hence we have "the rule of thumb"

If a statue in the park of a person on a horse has both front legs in
the air, the person died in battle. If the horse has one front leg in
the air  the person died as a result of wounds received in battle. If
the horse has all four legs on the ground, the person died of natural
causes.

Only two people signed the Declaration of Independence on July 4th,
John Hancock and Charles Thomson.  Most of the rest signed on August 2,

I have been told many times I'm not normal, and I guess that last part proves it. I really had a problem figuring it out.
If you are not part of the solution,
you are part of the problem!!!

Interesting fact. "Intelligent people have more zinc and copper in their hair."

How about those of us who no longer have hair? If we no longer have hair, we no longer have zinc and copper. Therefore no intelligence.

That's probably correct.

How many "thought" about licking their elbow?
I bought an old tractor all dusty and worn,
knew nothing about her just the year she was born
I washed her and greased her and painted her red
Now she lives happily right here in my shed.

John, sorry I didn't reply sooner. This time of year I'm busy. Well, I'm busy all year long, really. I forgot to check for replies on what I wrote. John, it was the spelling! I couldn't resist it. Even with those little emoticons, a dry humor is hard to bring to the surface. Really I get the letters mixed all the time but I go back and correct it. John, I think that is your signature. 8) Those little personal traits distinguish the individual from the written word in this environment. I think that's good. No offense meant. I hope none is taken.
