Try this on for size.
Here in NY your vehicle license runs 2 years from date of purchase to the day.
So if you did the licensing on march 23 06 your license expires on March
23 08.
Then your annual Inspection expires one year from the month you get it inspected.
Then to confuse us even more the trailer license expires December 31 no matter when you buy it.

I am still considered young by some being only 48 years young but
I suffer from what we call (here after) as in now what did in come here after.
If it's been broken I did it.
If its not broken wait till I touch it.

I "sometimes" (actually MORE times) write NOTES as to what things TO DO and WHERE I've put things!

I can remember my Dad doing the SAME THING, and how I used to kid him about it! He used to tell me: "Son, just REMEMBER...The Strongest Memory Is Weaker Than The Palest Ink" SOooooo...From My Dad to all of you, I pass on this SAGE ADVICE!

Wow theres a lot we have in common on this board. I finally got around to re-newing the tags on my pickup last week (expired in Feb) and will try my best to have the inspection (also expired) done by the end of this month. I always put things where I can find them. Usually right in front of me. Must be the bifocals not tuned in just right. Had to hot wire my mower for a month before I found the keys on the nail with the spare belts for it. What a good life. Dave
