Happy Easter to you all.....

The tomb was found with the stone rolled away, and empty this morning, and so the word passed throughout Jerusalem, that Jesus, is indeed the Messiah, as he is risen!

Jack Fowler sent me an interesting post which contained a section on the timing of Easter coming from a Pagan tradition. I'm not sure about the origins of the formula but the Day of Easter is calculated on this formula.

Easter is: The first Sunday, following the First Full Moon, following the First Day of Spring.

It does sound a little pagan, I guess, but it's a simple enough formula, if you find yourself with a calendar that doesn't mark religious holidays, but does mark moon phases.
