Ron,

You have the golden eye, that's for sure.

It's interesting that you live in Berwick, which is only 5 miles from my house as the crow flies, but you can't get there from here...LOL

How long has photography been your hobby? Or is it your livelihood?

Did you ever shop in Bloomsburg at a place called Towne Camera? That used to be my business, with partners, but is now owned by 1 surviving partner, who just can't leave it.

Fascinating stuff....

Tom. As you can see at the end of that link, the pictures were taken by a fellow named Dan Bush of Albany, Missouri. Please, don't ever get me confused with that picture taking ability .... (I wish .. )

Yes, I guess we are neighbors. Just a little run down Rt 93 over Nescopeck mountain and I'm there ...... :)

Ah,

Alas, I was looking at the pictures, and not reading the associated article.

I assumed you had taken a trip through Missouri in February....LOL

Nonetheless, you still have an eye for a beautiful landscape image, since you have the ability to appreciate fine work like that.

I'm a little Northwest of Ringtown, actually, which lies over the mountain, due south of you. The steam clouds from the Berwick Nuclear Power plant rise up in my northern horizon almost constantly. I get to watch the thunderstorms as they pass from Bloomsburg to Berwick in the summer, but usually don't get the rain from them....LOL Something about that river that carries them your way, isn't there? My grandparents were adept at looking at the threatening western sky, and deciding if we were going to get the storm, or if it was "following the river to Berwick"...LOL
