pascagoula

Any one in cub land in or near Pascagoula?
My oldest grand daughter Kris and a group from her college are going there for spring break. They are leaving this afternoon and should be there tomorrow afternoon. They are to sheetrock a house or houses. Kris attends Dickinson U in Carlisle PA. She tells me that they will be staying at a Baptist Church using their sleeping bags.
She made me proud as punch to realize she would give up party time to help others. When I first heard about this I sent her an E-mail Go girl Go.

Sounds like an exceptional young lady, Bill.

Somewhere along the line, she's learned that you can still have fun and do something useful as well.

With the right crowd, drywalling and camping out in a church basement could be a lot of fun.

I'm sure you're very proud of her, Bill, as you should be.

After being out of the U.S. for a month, I got to get some of the observations of what the eastern half of the world thinks about the young people of the U.S. After our primary education system being something like a third world nation, they said the young people are very egocentric.

Bill,

Your Grand daughter is going to be one of the people that’s going to prove to the rest of the world what the young people the U.S. is about, not what is going on in Florida and else where for spring break.

Kris is in my opinion one of the future “pillars” of our country.

I wish the cameras of the media would take pictures of what Kris and the group she is with of the good they are doing instead of the partying of the College students. Just think young people of America sleeping in a Church and getting up and helping people. (Na to unexciting)

I have an idea, Everybody E-Mail the T.V. networks and tell them about the group of Dickinson U and maybe they will pickup on it. I’ll give it a try.
