Feeding the reindeer

Postby Vern Campbell » Sun Feb 19, 2006 10:54 am

Hi everyone

I just developed some pictures taken with some old technology (35mm) at Christmas, and thought I'd share a couple with you. Lucas, my 5 year old, leaves cookies and milk for Santa (much appreciated!) as well as carrots and trail mix for the reindeer. He leaves the reindeer grub in the tractor garage. He says that way the reindeer can get warm, and if they are too tired, Santa could use the Cub to pull his sleigh. So I showed him the picture of the flying Cub that was posted a while back--now he wants to know when we can get the wing attachments!

Eugene, I leave the Maine tractor license plates on for sentimental reasons. This was my dad's Cub, and he registered the tractor because he used to plow and harrow gardens for some of his friends, so this meant he did a little over-the-road travel. These are his 1974 plates; he passed away in November that year.
