Our son Erik (Active Duty Army W02) has been wanting to do a flyover of our area for the last two years.
He finally had the opportunity to put together a training flight for one of the junior pilots and crews yesterday that took them from Fort Drum in Watertown, NY to Bradley Int'l Airport in Windsor Locks, CT.
After a late lunch/early dinner at Bears BBQ in Windsor, CT they headed east and buzzed us on top of Soapstone Mountain before heading back to Drum.
Pretty cool to see him flying...in-person!

Proud Dad...Super Cool. They must have a wing of BH's at the National Guard area of Bradley...we see them come down to the shore by Branford and then turn around and head back north.

John, yes indeed, we are very proud of what he has accomplished. He heads down to Alabama this fall for Maintenance Test Pilot School.
Yes, from the CT NG website;
