What is this? It is about 6” long 1/2” around One of the kittens found it in the flower bed by the house. It got away in the weeds.

When I googled ohio snakes. Milk snake did not show up. So
I just googled milk snake and it looks very much like it. It is not poisonous so I am ok.

Milk snake, scarlet snake, member of the king snake family. This snake and the coral snake are often confused. Coral snake is poisonous. We were taught at a young age this saying; "Red on black, friend of Jack...Red on yellow, kill a fellow".
