Well, I have been lucky through the entire pandemic but my luck has run out. Yep, I got it. No idea where I picked it up but was around hundreds of people over the long 4th of July weekend.
I am fully vaxed and have one booster too so it's feels like a BAD head cold. They put me on the Paxlovid dose pack for 5 days and it's worse than the symptoms, three large pills morning and night, taste terrible and I taste it ALL day...not fun.
With God's blessing, I will survive this and It could be so much worse. Stay safe out there everyone.

Dang!! I do hope it is mild, with no "long haul" effects, and over with quickly! Take care.

Re: Covid
I managed to avoid it until about 5 weeks ago. Felt like a bad head cold/flu symptoms for 2 days with a 101.5 temp. I have had 0 shots and took Tylenol and Motrin and was over it quick.

Its going around here again too. Wife and I are vaxed, and so far have avoided it.
I hope you recover soon and with minimal problems.

Re: Covid
Thanks for the well wishes. I am just about back to normal, whatever that is. Wife is a few days behind, still coughing and such. Get those vaccinations and stay healthy out there.

So glad to hear you (and your wife soon) are on the mend and getting back to normal.
Believe me, I would love to be “normal” again.
Stay healthy my friend!

Re: Covid
I had it in late May and had Paxlovid as well. Other than fatigue and muscle aches, the worst part was the bad taste the paxlovid imparted. I was straightened out within a few days. I hope your's is just as mild!
