Being a long weekend, HB. anniversary, wife and I went to the capital for a few days, 3.5 hours away, we had a chance to have a good look around, it being 7.30am when we arrived and very little traffic, and we were most impressed with what we saw. Auckland gets all the attention but give us Wellington anyday.

I have met Kiwi's online before, and whenever I see pictures of New Zealand, I am amazed by its beauty.
The ocean and air seem so much more blue there. The air seems clearer (although I know you get a lot more rain than most of us here do).
I imagine, if you've lived there all your life, it seems pretty much the norm, but from a little green valley in the center of hundreds of thousands of acres of coal fields, it looks pretty darn exotic from here.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

400lbs. That is true in most places, apparently as we have a smaller population the atmosphere is not contaminated as it is in big cities. We know that the sun is that much hotter here.
N.Z. has just been acknowledged as the country doing the most toward environmental issues. We have a lot to lose otherwise.
The older I get the more I realise what fantastic scenery.
Ron, I've never tried trout fishing, but they sure taste good.
