Exactly!
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

You know how many mowers I have around here? . . . I don't either, but still had to buy a zero turn.

Yeah Jim, I guess I should have answered this way:

The same thing that is wrong with my fast hitch flail mower, my belly mount flail mower, my 42 and 59 woods mowers, my Caroni three point mower, my fast hitch Woods mower, my Kubota BX2670, my Kubota B7200 or my Cub sickle mower. None of them are a zero turn.

The Model t will run with minimal tinkering, where as the hellcat will leave you stranded when the computer goes or a sensor or two sometimes.

The model t only needs a minimal roll-up pouch of basic tools, while the hellcat requires a 600 page service manual and a whole Snap-On truck!

Dont forget that you could turn that model t into a doodlebug and use it like a tractor! Try doodlebugging a hellcat! ;)

Oh, and adjusted for inflation, you could have 4 model t's and money left over vs the cost of one hellcat!

You did not HAVE to, you WANTED to! :) Understandable!

Nope they are not!

Ok, back to your regulary scheduled program! :)

Hey, why not get one of each (the KOHLER and KAWASAKI)! Why not get a one Diesel too!

Bill, I think you will be happy with a diesel Kubota, worth waiting for in the long run.

Each option offers benefits, you just have to choose what fits your needs best.

I mowed part of my 10 acres with my LoBoy for several years. It was relaxing therapy when I had the time to enjoy it. I moved to a JD 770 diesel tractor with a 60" cut and reduced my mowing time quite a bit while still "enjoying" using a gear drive tractor.

Last year my good friend and neighbor passed away and I helped his widow address liquidation of his massive barn and garage "accumulations". He had purchased a used Kubota ZD25 with a 60" cut. I serviced it and mowed both of our yards all last year. I mowed her additional 2 acres, with my usual amount, in the same time I previously mowed mine with the JD. When she sold her place she gifted me the mower, I was shocked and humbled to say the least!

It has about 1200 hours on it and is a mowing machine! The cut is far superior to the two prior mowers and the way I see it, it allows me more time to "play" with my Cubs!

So, I think you're going to be pleased with a zero turn, but that's just my thoughts and opinions,
David

David, the salesman said they have no idea when a diesel will come in, but said he would call as soon as one did. Thanks!

Yes, 3-1/2 hours with the garden tractor for just my property now I take care of my neighbors lawn too (who had bypass surgery) when I do mine and together I still get done in under 2 hrs.
The commercial zero turns designed for the pro landscapers are built like tanks. Mine carries 12 gallons of fuel too. They are far superior to anything else for cutting grass. It’s nice to be able to get to other projects afterward instead of devoting Half the day to cutting grass.

It takes me at least four hours to do my five acres with the 26 hp Kubota tractor.

I know it takes longer for the wife and l to mow with our 2 Kubota diesel tractors but I’m a tractor kind of guy. Bill, I was at the place with the coldest beer in town, yesterday and looking across the road at the Kubota dealer. The pickings looked pretty slim for Kubota zero turn mowers. There seems to be a shortage of everything, these days.

There is a large Kubota dealer between here and Morgantown. They usually have 30-40 new tractors sitting on the lot. Last time I went past there, I think there were three.

Have you considered a Grasshopper? They offer the Kubota diesel, and the front deck is handy for mowing under things as well as cleaning the deck, sharpening blades, etc.

Here ya go! I bet this can cut the time you personally spend mowing by 100%!

I wonder how soon production will begin!

You do not need a Kohler or a Kawasaki!
