XMas Holiday

Postby Jeff Silvey » Tue Dec 13, 2005 11:19 am

WE would like to wish everyone & their famlies to have a safe holiday. Christmas is very special time in all our lives. Have fun with the one that are still here with us to share the holidays. :D Wants they are gone they are gone. Pray for the ones that are sick and the ones that don't have a place to go for the holidays & pray for the one that are going to have surgueys. We all would like to see each other years to come.
MAY THE GOOD LORD BE US ALL

Be careful with those fireplaces, burning candles, real trees, eletric heaters, and kerosene heaters.

Happy Holidays

Are they really, Jeff?? I'd hate to think, at this time of year, that was so. I big part of what Christmas is to me, is remembering all the special times of years and lives gone past.

As some of you know, my 9-year-old daughter is severely autistic. She understands things much more concretely than the rest of us, so when she asks a question, you must carefully form your answer.

Her mother died in the summer of 2004, and she dreams of her sometimes. She asked me once, "what mommy wants??"

I thought about this for a few minutes, and then stole/modified a line from Dickens.

"The Dead want only to be remembered." was my answer.

I must have known some strange people.

I do think of the people that were close to us all the time that are deceased.
