Binoculars
Question for anyone with good binoculars who wears glasses. I have a set of bushnell auto focus binoculars. They are great. Problem is I have to take my glasses off to get them to my eyes to see through them, the problem with that is I can’t see good far off without my glasses. I’m looking for anyone to tell me what kind of binoculars they have who wears glasses and can put the binoculars up to their glasses and see good, especially close to sunset or sunrise.

Re: Binoculars
Are you sure yours don't have either rubber eyecups that fold up and down for glasses, or eyelieces that screw in/out for glasses? Most binoculars have one or the other. Sometimes the rubber cups get old and brittle and break off, but might be replaceable.
I have Nikons, but what I did was go to a bird store (Wild Bird Center) where I could stand and look out the door through all their binos, and see which gave me the field I wanted, which were easy to focus and/or zoom, the easiest to focus the single eye for clear vision, etc. The low light feature is important, too.
Good luck!

Mine do have the rubber piece that folds down but it still doesn’t work for focusing with glasses on. They don’t have any adjustments on them, they automatically focus from 40 yards to whatever. I like that but not the taking my glasses off part.

Re: Binoculars
I have worn glasses and used binoculars for most of my life. I have yet to find a solution to this problem. The only time it wasn't an issue was when I wore contacts. But, those have their own set of unique problems. I just live with the inconvenience.

Re: Binoculars
I have a set of Bruntons, they work well, but the best pair I ever owned was a set of leupolds, cascade river or something, an old man wanted them to see the number tags on his cows, I finally let him give me what I had in them, wish i still had them
better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it...( YES this includes CUBS! )

Re: Binoculars
I have dealt with that problems for years, including on rifle scopes. Some work, some do not. Never had luck with auto focus, always had to use manual focus.
If you are not part of the solution,
you are part of the problem!!!
