Put out deer food plots. Would check on the condition of the plants and find deer eating the plants.

By the time deer season rolled around, deer had eaten the food plot to the ground.
I have an excuse. CRS.

I guess if you plant it and it gets water they will come.

Neat Pics from the field camera. That doe looks like she had been tagged on the right ear. At least you know they found the food plot!

Biggest one yet, looks to have a unicorn horn. Put my wife’s name on this one, would love to see her crossbow him. Haven’t been over there since the 17th, it’s 4 miles from our house. We’ve had 2 1/2” of rain at the house. I have this rain gauge in the beans. What’s left of them.

The beans I planted are about gone from deer and lack of water. I had one bag left so Arnold and I went over with the yard tool and worked a small area and I threw them out by hand and covered them up with the yard tool.

I know most of you have used a bucket to throw seed out before, works better than nothing. Well I grabbed what I saw, a box, it’s better than nothing but not as good as a bucket.

Decided while I was there may as well move the blind. People ask why I was building it on wheels. So I can move it! It’s made out of pallets, sides and top then covered. Can get 3 people in it.

Ever had to pump a tire up on your blind to move it?

In the last week we’ve had close to 10” of rain here. Good for beans but not for pipe in creek. This is a 48” pipe and I had a friend fix it last year because of so much rain it washed over the top of the pipe, well it happened again this week. He hauled in 2 dump truck loads of concrete chunks and packed around it with a trackhoe, a lot of it washed down the creek.

Good pix of everything. Even the spider is a good one. He left that hole in the center-looks like still working on it :) Yes, land as that is a beauty while mowing. Our mules are tractors now and when they breathe well and the grass is down, the snakes are sorta gone and rabbits get picked up by raptors or not. The deer hate snakes and here it is, a beautiful picture. Thanks Shane.
They are all great. A few years ago, an old friend of mine was over at my place. I would help him at his place about 200 miles away. We did a hard day of mowing with the 154 and modified whatever types. I opened the drapes early and there were deer standing 30 and 40 feet away. Whatever we did, they liked it. Neither being in the mood to shoot any one of them, they roamed out.

A good friend of mine runs about 60-75 head of cattle and found this in his fence yesterday. So sad, nature has a way of being rough at times.

Friend of mine told me about this mixture, we’ll see if it gets them within 10 yards of the ground blind so the wife can crossbow one down.

Shane I thought you mixed sugar to make kool aid and salt to make home made ice cream.
