Salt Flooding

Postby ajhbike » Thu May 09, 2024 4:00 pm

A pretty good size part of my lawn gets flooded with salt/brackish water at high tide when: there is a king tide, when the lunar yadayada lines up, when there is a nor'ester and so on...more so in the last 5 years. During the big ones or hurricanes the whole property and drive gets it but that is not often. Do any of you coastal people know of or had success with a grass that is salt tolerant? It is CT so bermuda isn't an option and zoysia is only plugs and pretty $$

I do throw gypsum and try to "water it out" but the next flood is a month away.....
