Welded a stud to the table to rotate it around evenly and welded a couple other pieces to the table to get them spaced right. I also weighed these 6 vanes on a digital scale and got them all to within .1 ounce of each other. Now if I can just keep my welds the same the balance will be close.

*See last page at bottom for the beginning of this Lely ejector disc start. See page 21 for the Lely itself.

Took this Lely to get burned, sand blasted, powdercoat primed & powdercoat painted red today. We’ll see how long it takes. I told him I didn’t need it until June.

Been tinkering with a couple IH fertilizer hopper bases while waiting on the Lely to be painted. Needed to make a new hook for one. First attempt it was to short as seen on the left of the three.

2nd attempt I used a piece of 1/4” key stock as a spacer at the head and the pivot of the hand bender. It came out good. Should be good for a while, made it out of stainless. Original is on the left.

Was searching the local sale ads Thursday and found this IH Danco C-2 for sale. I called about it and ask what kind of blade is with it? The guy says, it’s small and has the same hitch as the mower. Good enough for me. I’m thinking it’s a cheap blade or homemade. Cole and I drove an hour one way to get them today, got out of truck and saw the blade for the first time. I said thank you Lord, You are so good to me!

The mower is in great shape. All gaurds are there except for the belt guard. The PTO shaft is there as well and free.

The blade is an IH 100 :D

I was gonna see if I could get my permission slip signed for the auction coming up this week with the Cub but I’m not even gonna ask now. It’s on Wednesday and I’d have to take off work and don’t need another tractor anyway.

I’m tickled to have a nice mower and the blade I been looking for without knowing I was looking at one

Yerp. I been calling it a mower for some reason, had one not long ago and got rid of it. It was rough.
