wood burner paintingI just bought a used wood burner for my living room its in good shape but has a little rust. I wanted to sand it down and repaint it but I didnt know what type of high temp paint to use. Has anyone painted there woodburner before? and if so how did it turn out? Thanks , Jake
You can buy stove paint at most any wood stove store. I think I bought mine at Wal-Mart. I cleaned my wood burner stove with a wire wheel and painted it and it came out like new. The first time you use it it will have an odor till the paint burns in.
Then came Bronson
thanksthanks john, thats exactly what i planned on doing(wire wheel on angle grinder) Ill find some paint now...
