Fire

Postby Joe Malinowski » Fri Feb 05, 2010 6:51 pm

As I headed to work yesterday morning I saw smoke rising. I arrived at the same time as the 1st police cruiser and helped make sure houses were evacuated. I had the camera in the truck and took some pictures. This is a large farm in town the main barn and house were saved. A smaller barn and farm shop were destroyed. Five cows and two goats were lost, unfortunately they were 4 h projects. The cause today was ruled electrical, just one of those things, could not have been prevented.

I always worry about my barn going up. The firehouse is right across from it and they have already told me they would do all they could do to save it but the odds are it would be gone.

Good pix, thanks for sharing.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Thanks for sharing the pixs. It is a shame the fire departments trucks haven't ripened up yet . It is a shame they lost the livestock.
