Re: Rabbits in Garden![]() I don't believe in taking the bull by the horns. I took a goat by the horns once and that was enough excitement for me.

Re: Rabbits in GardenI tried the old Marigold trick last year. I planted some at the ends of rows and mixed some in the middle. No rabbits, but holy cow did I have a ton of Japanese Beetles on my Marigolds, which was fine with me, just pick them off and relocate them. (politically correct) I've never seen a Japanese Beetle in my garden until last year.

Re: Rabbits in Gardenmoth balls sprinkled around the edge of your garden will keep out all critters including dogs
Re: Rabbits in GardenJust seen this post.
I seen this on youtube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_PDlLRmXZAE You may just have to add the bent part to the bottom of your existing fence. JimT

Re: Rabbits in GardenI have had pretty good luck with the "critter repellant" that Lowe's sells. Comes in a spray bottle like Windex. I can't describe the smell, but it's awful. Rabbits didn't like it either!
The problem we often have with severe critter infestations is that mothballs, repellants, etc. will work a short time and then the critters ignore it. We have a number of farm cats hanging out, and our small varmint population is very, very small. Doggone things even drug up a big ol' chicken snake a few weeks ago.... IH's are RED. Just say NO to yellow and white! Let us pray for farmers and all who prepare the soil for planting, that the seeds they sow may lead to a bountiful harvest.
