Let me say its not brake clean alone. Its carb cleaners, can rattle paints, plus other pressurize stuff we use in our lives.

At work I had the helmet/respirator battery operated, that pumped fresh air in the helmet.

I did all the heavy fabrication and welding for decades. I read that welding can cause cancer.
I had prostate cancer go figure. I used coke to wash down the soot taste in my mouth.
I'm technically misunderstood at times i guess its been this way my whole life so why should it change now.

Btw, I lost breathing oxygen once while welding in a tight area. I went to breath and nothing was there. I threw my helmet and jumped out of the weldment while trying to catch my breath. I should of known better to put the exhaust fan closer to my work. It’s my miss judgement. That never happened again.
