When You Least Exspect It

Postby Barnyard » Sat Jan 11, 2020 10:23 pm

I was installing some metal shelving last night. Rosanne was busy and didn't have time to help so I decided to do it alone. I had one end of the first shelf sitting in a previous installed shelf as I was attaching the uprights. I had the first upright secured loosely with a bolt and was putting the nut on the inside of the second upright when the shelf I was installing slipped of the shelf holding it up. When the shelf folded my finger got between the shelf and upright, pinching it as if it were in a scissors. Fortunately I didn't lose the finger, but it took six stiches to sew it up

Sometimes what looks easy really isn't. Make sure you have help if you're not sure.

There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Wow !! Some accidents cant be foreseen. Glad your finger is still there. As one who has experienced loss of fingers just be thankful it was not more serious. Heal up soon.
