Zenith carb adjustment for a 184
Just wondering where I can find the proper carb adjusting procedures for a zenith carb on a 184.

Quick links; PDF manuals; Farmall Cub; Service manuals; IH Service 2-fuel-governor. Scroll down towards the end of the pages. I didn't look in a late operator's/owner's manual, but there may also be info there.

- Following this thread.
I can't ever seem to get mine to both idle perfectly and accelerate without stumbling. My 184 is either running rich at an idle or stumbling on acceleration. I know this is a combination of timing and carb perfection, but getting them both exact is very difficult.

Re: Zenith carb adjustment for a 184
I replaced the original carb on my 154 with a new Zenith and it ran fine for two years. Then it started losing power and running rich. Opened up the carb to see what changed and found high speed metering jet was loose and backed out a turn or two. Reinstalled it with about 1/2 drop of blur locktite on the threads and its' been working fine for several years.
Good luck.
Good luck.
