Re: 154 front and rear tires fel
I don't have a FEL for my 184 w/3-pt although I have considered it at times. I always thought the front wheel bearings and hubs would be the weight limiting features and not the tires...having said that I have 4.00x12 three ribs on the front and 8.3x24 ag tires on the rear. I bet your tires look really "beefy" on the 154. I would love to see a pic of your tractor with your tires mounted.

Re: 154 front and rear tires fel
I need to fabricate a new steel front axle with power steering next. I need to get going. The front tires look great not even mounted yet on the tractor. The problem I ran into with the cub cadet 147 with a fel is steering. With turf tires. Even my cadet with the rear tiller has a hard time steering. I put those three rib 650-8 on the tiller now she steers. I had a hard time steering and plowing snow with the 154 with turf tires. I’m thinking the larger three rib front tires should have more bite with the added fel weight too.
I need to get the tires mounted on the 154 to see where I need to adjust the height even.

Re: 154 front and rear tires fel
Btw, I’m using the 11.2x24” ag tires with farmall A 10” wide 4 loop rims. I have a wheel center coming from a farmall A so I can copy the four outer bolts to the fcub wheel center. Then I can mount the wider a rims with the larger tires on the 154 fel/.
