Need info on drive belt for belly mower.

Postby Hobohilton » Sun Jun 11, 2017 6:36 am

I have a Cub Loboy (185) with an International Belly mower. When I got the unit the mower drive belt was missing. Could someone please give me the length and cross section needed for the belt that drives the belly mower?

Cub Loboy Serial # 011619
Belly Mower Model # 601 U-1111

Found and read the service manual for the 3 blade mower.... No parts info to help me order the drive belt.

Thanks,

Hobo

Where is the main drive belt shown in the 2nd photo?

Deck on ground. Slide the idler pulleys to the top of the adjustment slot. 3/8 or 1/2" diameter rope. Loop the rope around the pulleys to obtain a length. Check the deck belt for thickness. Add about 2 or 3 inches to the measured belt length.

Take info to auto parts store, order premium quality belt.
I have an excuse. CRS.

Thank you Eugene..... Ahhhh the "Old School" method. I have a belt with the correct cross section that is too long. I will set the adjustments and cut the old belt to the correct length and take it to the supply house and see what they can come up with...

That's a 3260 deck

Deck belt #B100

The PTO BELT IS I BELIEVE 165" B belt is 5/8" there is a adjustment on the mule drive on the rear.
I'm technically misunderstood at times i guess its been this way my whole life so why should it change now.
