cub distributor drive housing

Postby ransome » Tue Jul 19, 2016 4:13 pm

I don't have the operators manual for this tractor. That's a story for another time. I've rebuilt the C-60 completely, and about ready to reinstall it and assemble the machine. Just can't find the type and amount of grease to pump into the dist. drive housing. Zerks (or grease nipples, depending on where you live :D) are installed, awaiting lubrication. Just need to know what kind and how much. Thanks in advance.

http://www.farmallcub.com/[ Sorry, direct links to manual section is not allowed. ]/index.p ... ls&order=0

Above link. Go to the lubrication guide near back of manual. There are several steps involved in lubricating the distributor drive.

The process and lubricant are the same for the numbered Cubs and standard Cubs.

Free down load of manuals for numbered Cubs, top of page, pdf manuals.
I have an excuse. CRS.
