Lo Boy 185 hydraulic fluid change
When draining Trans Fluid out of tractor it looks like there is a plug on bottom of Trans that I assume will drain the fluid but does this also drain the right and left drive gear housing and if not how do you drain them. Thanks Brian

Correct on draining the hydraulic fluid. Change the hydraulic filter.
Finals. There is no drain on the finals pan. Remove the rear tire. Unbolt the finals pan.

I have an excuse. CRS.

I bought a siphon pump and was capable of sucking out the finals, then I just poured in new Trans Fluid into the fill plugs.

Great idea. Sure beats removing the tire and rim to access the finals pans.Brianleibo wrote:I bought a siphon pump and was capable of sucking out the finals, then I just poured in new Trans Fluid into the fill plugs.
