Parts Tractor, Finally Stripped it down

Postby ihcc104 » Wed Mar 09, 2016 6:40 pm

So a while back I bought a parts tractor to make one tractor out of the 2.

I got the 3 point hitch off, creeper out (what a chore that was having to split the tractor without a cherry picker, but thanks to Yankee ingenuity I got it) also got the dual brakes off.

Now... should I spend the time to put it back together after I switch the parts to my other lo boy... or just sell it as is (or part it out). The engine turns over freely, I got that unstuck with the use of Marvel and PB.

My one question is... that once I took the creeper off, there are 2 pegs that stick out to keep it aligned, and I think they are suppose to be transfered with the creeper... how do I get them out?

Also is there anything that covers the front of the trans with the creeper off?

Is it worth rebuilding the creeper before I reinstall it? How difficult it it to press the carrier out of the housing?

You wouldn't happen to have a 'glass nose from the parts tractor, do you?
