Trans oil substitute ?

Postby 64/67lo-boy » Sat Nov 29, 2014 4:27 pm

Had to drain the transmision due to removal of filter pipe on bottom of trany. was wondering if Case was the only place I could get hytran? I think there is a NewHoland dealer close by and we do have a tractor supply next town over. Not sure what they carey.

TSC or any other farm store will have an equivalent. It will tell you on the label if it is compatable with the Hy-tran and can be used in IH Case tractors.

Look for oil marked for oil marked transmission and hydraulics.
If you are not part of the solution,
you are part of the problem!!!

TSC has a traveller hydraulic oil that's rated better than hytran.
I'm technically misunderstood at times i guess its been this way my whole life so why should it change now.
