Power take off cub 154 lowboy
I have a woods 60" belly mower on this tractor. I took the rear cover off and found what looks to be a friction disk in a group of 5 or so that is just flopping around when PTO is engaged. I can move it be hand. I tried putting it back in line with the others but it will not stay. To engage the mower I have to pull the lever all the way up and hold it there until the clutch locks up. What might be my problem and a repair procedure. Thanks

There are close to 100 parts/pieces in the PTO. You need the parts manual and service manual for the Numbered Cub Low-Boys. There are parts changes based upon the tractor's serial number.
You just need to disassemble and inspect parts.
