my awesome 154 is repaired i had help.

My int 154 with the IH 3260 mower deck is awesome now finally again.!!!!!!!! It was born in the early '70's and abused till now. My two sons worked on it since I have an illness.

1. Repaired / rebuilt the PTO. (Bad bearings)
2. Rebuilt the 3260 mower deck. (Bad bearings)
3. Replace the wiring harness. (Frayed wiring)
4. New starter & regulator.
5. Move ground wire to the transmission.
6. New starter solenoid.

The orginal ground wire on the seat tool box was passing only 1.3 volts.
The new starter will start when cold but after the new starter gets hot it won't start.
We're getting 13+ volts at the battery when it's charging.

My youngest son changed the wiring harness while my engineer son used his ohm meter on the ground battery cable. They fixed it. It's the passing of the torch now.

My youngest son drove it and cut my lawn. It's awesome that my family stepped up to help me out during my time of need. Plus its time they learn everything on how to fix it.
I'm technically misunderstood at times i guess its been this way my whole life so why should it change now.
