does anyone know the part numbers for the rear crank seal and Oil Pump Gasket and Rear Oil Seal Retainer Gasket?
Our new cub store opened and they couldn't find the part numbers. I replaced the oil pan gasket because I thought that was it but its coming from up behind the
motor. It only drips when not running but leaks pretty bad when running. Am I on the right track thinking its one of these seal/gaskets? (lo boy 185)

Check to see if the oil filter gasket and washer are leaking.

If it is a rear main seal, then have the rear plate machined and a new seal pressed in.
One of the forum members currently performs this service for a reasonable price.

I really don't know anything yet. All I know is its leaking down the back of the oil pan. I had that gasket changed because it was leaking as well but I'm still not 100% sure where it's coming from. It drips when parked and leaks semi heavy when running. Rear crank seal maybe. I ordered a seal kit from Hamilton bobs and I'm waiting it to arrive. I'm still trying to find someone to do the work. I'm not that mechanically inclined. My local (just opened cub dealer) has never done anything like that and they want 75$ dollars a hour to try to figure it out. I don't need try, I need know how. I need my cub on its feet I'm getting behind on things.

Did you check the oil filter housing gasket and washer? Oil leak on the back side of the oil filter housing will leak oil on the bottom of the bell housing.

Cub must be a Cub Cadet dealership. Any make tractor dealership will have the knowledge and equipment/tools to install the rear seal on your numbered Cub Low-Boy.

I got in there with a flash light and didn't see any leak from the housing it looks like it's coming from straight up the middle of the oil pan but I cant really tell 100%
I had some other work done at a "tractor/lawnmower dealer" and they were reasonable but when they did my oil pan gasket and I went to get and it was still leaking and they didn't act they really cared and said yeah we saw that leak coming from the motor. Looks like you've got a seal leaking. I'll find a good one somewhere that knows there stuff. I'm going to call the IH/CASE dealer about a hour up the road from me and see what they say.
