I have rebuilt hydraulic control valves. You need to remove the valve, disassemble, inspect to determine bore, spool valve and o-ring condition. Problem is probably a damaged o-ring, but one never knows until the valve is inspected.

Just checked the service manual. Tractor serial number U018709 and below has a circuit relief valve. Might be the problem.

Service manual contains instructions for repairing the control valve.
I have an excuse. CRS.

Are you sure there is no water in your hydraulic system?
I'm technically misunderstood at times i guess its been this way my whole life so why should it change now.

The hydraulic system is single action. If you are not losing oil externally, then the leak down is occurring at/in the hydraulic control valve.

No water in the system. No external leaks. One tractor leaks down in about 5 min. the other tractor in 5 seconds.
