What is the :?: correct torque for a 154 Cub Lo-Boy oil pan? Please, don't say snug because I tend to over torque :( bolts, lol. Also, how do you get the part of the oil pan that goes against the gasket flat? Thanks!!

John. Don't know if there is a specific spec for the oil pan bolt torque, but 5/16-18 oil pan bolts with the lock washers should be approx. 12 - 13 ft lbs.

If your oil pan is distorted from over tightning, you can pound/press it back into shape carefully and check it on a flat surface. I've used wood block and hammer, but be careful! Others with better experience will have to address this for sure...............
